Job Description

The QHSE Manager will oversee quality, health, safety, and environmental practices in the energy and natural resources industry, with a focus on oil. This role requires expertise in implementing and maintaining compliance standards within the engineering and manufacturing department

• Develop and implement QHSE policies, procedures, and guidelines aligned with industry standards.
• Lead API audits and ensure policies and compliance are duly adhered to and followed
• Ensure compliance with local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee internal audits and inspections to maintain quality and safety benchmarks.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify and mitigate risks.
• Provide training and awareness sessions for employees on QHSE standards and best practices.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare and present detailed QHSE reports to senior management.
• Monitor and continually improve the performance of QHSE management systems.

A successful QHSE Manager should have:

• A degree in Mechanical/Petroleum engineering, environmental science, or a related discipline.
• API certifications - American Petroleum Institute
• Proven expertise in quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards within the oil sector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and train teams in QHSE practices effectively.
