Client: A Leading D2C baby product brand was founded in 2014 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Company is having annual turnover of around 120 Crs & employee strength of 120 employees & they are providing international safety standard certified bay products by their e-commerce website & online market platforms like Amazon, Flipkart & other leading online & offline platforms.
Job Title -QC Manager Baby Clothing
Working days and timings - 9.30 am to 6.30 pm (2nd & 4th Saturdays off)
Location - Chancharwadi, Ahmedabad
Experience: - 5+ years
Qualification - Degree/Diploma in Textile Technology, Apparel Production, or equivalent
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end quality control across fabrics, trims, and finished garments.
• Conduct inline, midline, and final inspections at vendor factories.
• Ensure compliance with infant safety standards & certifications (azo-free dyes, CPSIA, EN71, etc.).
• Establish and maintain quality manuals, SOPs, and AQL standards.
• Collaborate with vendors and mills to rectify defects, reduce rejections, and improve efficiency.
• Validate lab dips, strike-offs, print tests, shrinkage & color fastness reports.
• Train and guide vendors on R for Rabbit's babywear quality benchmarks.
• Coordinate with design, sourcing, and commercial teams for smooth approvals.
• Manage external testing labs / certification agencies for compliance

Desired Skills:

• 5+ years of QC experience in apparel industry (kidswear / knitwear strongly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of fabric construction, GSM, knitting/weaving, finishing, and trims.
• Familiar with AQL inspection levels, ISO standards, and babywear safety norms.
• Experience in factory audits, vendor evaluations, and compliance checks.
• Proficient in using inspection reports, Excel trackers, ERP systems.
• Strong communication and vendor-handling skill
