Job Summary


We are seeking a seasoned Senior QA Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience in both manual and automation testing specifically within the Healthcare domain The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in Appeals and Grievance Management and a strong understanding of healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA and CMS regulations You will play a key role in ensuring the quality reliability and compliance of our healthcare applications through robust testing strategies




Key Responsibilities


Lead and execute manual and automated testing efforts across healthcare applications


Design and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Selenium Cypress or Playwright


Validate business workflows related to Appeals and Grievance Management ensuring regulatory compliance


Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into test plans and test cases


Perform functional regression integration API and data validation testing


Conduct root cause analysis and ensure timely defect resolution


Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives


Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in testing and quality assurance


Support UAT and production release validation




Required Skills Qualifications


Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field


6 to10 years of QA experience with a strong mix of manual and automation testing


Deep understanding of Healthcare domain workflows especially Appeals and Grievance Management


Experience with automation tools eg Selenium WebDriver TestNG Cypress Postman


Strong knowledge of API testing REST SOAP and data validation using SQL


Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards HIPAA CMS


Experience with defect tracking and test management tools eg JIRA Azure DevOps


Excellent communication analytical and problem solving skills




Preferred Qualifications


Experience with healthcare payer systems eg Facets QNXT HealthEdge


Exposure to performance testing tools eg JMeter LoadRunner


Experience with CI CD pipelines and version control systems eg Jenkins Git


ISTQB or domain specific certifications eg Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality


Knowledge of EDI transactions eg 837 835 and HL7 standards
