General information: Hitachi Energy is looking for a QA Leader in the India Product Center, Bangalore to lead the QA team for the Enterprise Software group. The Leader will collaborate with senior level QA Management globally to ensure the India team produces the next generation of mission-critical, enterprise software for current and new markets. In addition, the role will actively engage with peer R&D organizations in the business unit. Responsibilities: Ensures that each program is fully staffed with appropriately skilled and experienced QA resources, by collaborating with senior leadership. Own and drive the development of the innovative products derived from the current product line and next generation technologies (EAM, FSM and APM products). Drive organizational efficiencies, collaboration, and a strong engineering culture. Mentor young QA team for future leadership roles. Partner with development teams across product groups and if required, other business units, and technology leaders across organization to leverage and collaborate on products and technologies for new solutions to bring to market. Drives the adoption of quality culture in the QA team. Your background: Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Physics or Math. Overall 12+ years\' experience in Technology and atleast 6+ years leading QA/Development teams of large scalable enterprise software products, in several technology environments, cloud hosted, mobile and legacy software. International experience with global projects and collaboration with intercultural team is a plus. Full QA/software development lifecycle experience including Agile methodologies. Excellent leadership and communication skills with experience in building and managing teams of cross-functional experts in multiple regions globally. Experience in Mentoring and Succession Management. Certifications such as CSQA, ISTQB is a plus Located in Bangalore or willing to relocate to Bangalore
