Location: Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai
Shift: 2:00 PM -11:00 PM IST, or as required by the project (it can be 3 PM-12 AM, or 3:30-12:30 AM IST)

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer with expertise in API and UI Automation using different tools like Selenium, playwright, rest assured, restsharp (mandate). The ideal candidate should have 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in automation testing, specifically focusing on building robust test automation frameworks. As an Automation Engineer with, you will get to:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and API testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure test automation is integrated into the development process.
• Implement BDD using Cucumber or any other framework to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Perform API testing to validate integrations and data flows.
• Monitor test results, debug failures, and report defects.
• Ensure continuous integration of test cases with CI/CD pipelines

What we're looking for

Mandatory Skills

• 5-8 years of mandate experience in automation testing, creation of automation frameworks, writing test scripts, experience with Playwright and API Automation/Testing.
• Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in more than one language TypeScript, Java, C# and JavaScript for developing and maintaining automation scripts.
• UI Automation: Extensive experience in writing automation scripts for web applications using different tools like selenium, playwright etc.
• API Automation: Solid experience in testing APIs using automation tools (e.g., REST Assured, RestSharp, Postman).
• BDD Cucumber: Proficient in implementing behavior-driven development using Cucumber.
• Test Frameworks: Knowledge of test automation frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.
• Version Control: Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Good to have:

• CI/CD: Familiarity with continuous integration tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Cloud Knowledge (primary-Azure, otherwise AWS, GCP)
