Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Collaborate with developers, architects, testers to develop and deploy test automation tool set in EMR/AWS or DataProc/GCP
• Analyze requirements and design framework to cater to BIG Data requirements developed / deployed in Hadoop, Spark, HBASE
• Develop and execute modular / E2E automated test suite & solutions using new / existing automation tools / frameworks.
• Previous working experience with Commercial Business Data is a plus
• Be able to work with stakeholders in analyze, prioritize requirements, create roadmaps
• Provide detailed, statistic-based status reports on progress
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Linux
• Demonstrate experience in implementing BDD/TDD testing practices.
• Experience with Agile methodology and the ability to recognize opportunities for enhancement and continuous improvement.
• Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of technologists and business team members including offshore team members.
• Ability to coordinate and work with globally distributed teams.

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar work experience
• Minimum 7 years of experience in software quality assurance or development.
• Minimum 7 years of technical project experience, testing through a full system development life cycle.
• Minimum 7 years of experience with business user acceptance testing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience using test management software, JIRA knowledge preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience with automation testing (Data driven / Custom In-house frameworks). Analyzing needs, creating / maintaining frameworks and test suites to meet testing demands in a high paced environment.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with all the following: Python, Unix Shell Scripting, Jenkins CI/CD pipeline scripting, Groovy scripting, Eclipse, Postman.
• Expertise in setting up CI/CD, build deployments with Jenkins / Harness
• Knowledge of SQL and other data retrieval methods.
• A good understanding of on AWS or GCP Services, Tools and best practices would be a plus.
• Project coordination / Team management experience a plus.
• Experience analyzing project requirements and ability to create test strategy, test plan and test cases.
• Ability to lead all test related meetings with all levels of staff.
• Ability to work independently or as a team player, while using discretion in decision making and sound judgment in problem solving.
• Ability to manage multiple projects / tasks simultaneously.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and clearly document issues.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Must have the ability and desire to quickly learn new skills and technologies.
