Role: QA Engineer (Automation + Manual Testing)
Location: Remote (India)
Work Hours: 2:00 PM 11:00 PM IST (U.K overlap)
Experience: 4 6 years

Key Responsibilities
Communicate clearly with clients to understand requirements and provide timely updates.
Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Playwright (JS/TS) or Selenium (Java preferred).
Perform thorough manual testing to validate functionality, usability, and performance.
Participate actively in all phases of the SDLC and STLC.
Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate with developers for quick resolution.
Continuously enhance test frameworks, coverage, and overall test efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript / TypeScript) or Selenium (Java preferred / C# optional).
Strong understanding of manual testing concepts, test case design, and defect lifecycle.
Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, and modern QA practices.
Ability to work independently during UK overlap hours (2 PM 11 PM IST)
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Git version control
Immediate joiner preferred.
Nice to Have
Experience with Jira or other test management tools.
Knowledge of API testing (Postman or Playwright API).
Natives app automation using Appium
