Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Define and own the test strategy, approach, and design, ensuring alignment with product requirements and user stories.
Develop and execute manual and automated API tests using tools like Postman and REST Assured.
Perform performance testing using JMeter or similar tools, analyzing scalability, reliability, and stability under load.
Build and maintain automated test scripts with Playwright, Selenium, and relevant frameworks.
Conduct regression testing to validate stability after changes.
Collaborate with developers, testers, managers, and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Track and manage defects through closure, maintaining detailed documentation of test cases and results.
Implement continuous improvements in testing processes and practices.
Mentor and guide team members, delivering training as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, performance).
Expertise in frameworks: Cucumber (BDD), Data-Driven, Page Object Model, TestNG.
Proficient with JIRA, Azure, ClickUp, and version control (Git).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs (methods, endpoints, JSON, XML).
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proven leadership experience in mentoring and guiding QA teams.
