Blue Planet R&D is seeking a QA Automated Tester with 2+ years demonstrated ability working in sophisticated software environments. A successful candidate will put a strong emphasis on implementing high quality software based on quality code and a focus on continuous improvement.

Crucial Duties and Responsibilities:

• Required to learn, understand and build functional and non functional test cases from requirements,
• perform manual and automated QA and PV Testing for applications.
• Performance Benchmarking and Scalability characterisation
• Backend testing: Rest API testing automation tools
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and supervise bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Handle multiple concurrent projects to deliver committed features on time with good quality
• Prepare and present reports/metrics to Senior Management
• Develop an environment of continuous improvement in software engineering practices and product quality in terms of performance, scalability, availability and flexibility
• Work closely and optimally with other software development teams as well as product line management, architecture and product support teams

Required Skills:

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in software performance testing, QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Hands on Experience with Linux Operating system and JIRA
• Hands on Experience with Postman and similar tools for API Testing
• Hands on Experience with Javascript, Shell Scripts, Ansible and Python
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Experience with Enterprise networking technologies, network management concepts are a plus
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Should be adaptive to the processes, tools and technologies used and should chip in continuously to the improvement of self and team
