How You Will Contribute:

Blue Planet www.blueplanet.com, the software division of Ciena, provides outstanding intelligent automation software and niche professional services to help clients modernize their IT and network operations. Driven by policy and AI-based insights, Blue Planet delivers the closed-loop automation tools needed to align IT and networking processes\xe2\x80\x94critical to facilitating digital transformation and an adaptive network.

• Engage various engineering teams, product line managers and product owners to transform concepts and high-level requirements into optimized test coverage and enhanced customer experience.
• Analyze test results and prepare test reports.
• Own the effort to automate all manually devised and executed test cases using automation best practices, including the maintenance of these test cases going forward.
• Investigate software defects and highlight critical issues that can have potential customer impact and consult with software development engineers in finding resolution or to address problems related to specifications and/or test plans/procedures.
• Looking for professionals with 2-3 years of experience in Automation testing.

The Must Haves:
Required experience and skills

• Proficient with Python and Scripting
• Proficient with Postman and Newman
• Proficient with Teamcity / Jenkins
• Solid understanding with Micro Service architecture and Kubernetes deployment
• Exposure to Cloud Deployments..
