Specific details about the role are as follows: Review/refine requirements, user stories, and specification as part of scrum development process to ensure testability, consistency, and adherence to quality standards Experience on automation testing Execute acceptance and regression testing of the total system (software, firmware, and hardware) as part of an integrated system Execute functional tests of new features Create testing documentation: test logs, test cases, test plans Evaluate hardware components for quality and ability to integrate into the total solution Setup large test systems and environments Review end user documentation for accuracy/quality Develop and guide other team members in the creation and execution of automated tests Cooperate and collaborate with an internationally distributed team of diverse expertise to realize a complete product Identify needed test equipment and gain expertise on such Report on task and project progress and guard project milestones Actively participate in process improvement activities practices to improve efficiency and quality Provide information/support for necessary training classes, demonstrations, and customer issues Support production and manufacturing in the prototyping and mass production of products Research/find solutions to test system where often limited standardization and limited information exists. Others as the position grows Preferred Skills and Experience:: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent with 8 years of post-degree relevant experience in software and integration testing Or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent with 6 years of post-degree relevant experience in software and integration testing General knowledge of Networking and IT infrastructure Ability to see things at close range Recognize and tell the difference between different colors Ability to identify test cases to adequately test a system Excellent English oral and written communication skills including technical terminology Ability to work autonomously and manage assigned tasks Ability to travel domestically and internationally Experience with the following is a benefit: Agile/Scrum/Test Driven methodologies Display technologies (e.g., LED, LCD, projectors) Video/image processing Wireshark Embedded linux Python or other scripting/programming language Selenium Robot Protractor
