Role details:

• Title / Designation: Python Automation Lead
• Location: Bengaluru
• Work mode: Hybrid
• Work timings: 1 PM TO 10 PM

Role & responsibilities:

• Lead a small automation team and mentor members to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Design, implement, and maintain Python-based test automation scripts and frameworks (Pytest/unittest).
• Analyze automation execution failures in CI/CD systems and provide insights to improve software quality.
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to resolve blockers and proactively suggest process improvements.
• Understand applications/domains end-to-end and identify opportunities to enhance product quality through automation.

Candidate requirements:

• 5-8 years of experience in QA and automation testing with strong Python programming and OOP knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with web and mobile UI automation using Selenium/Appium and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Experience with version control systems (Git), test management, and bug tracking tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills, with ownership and accountability.
• Ability to lead a team, mentor juniors, communicate effectively with clients, and work with US-based teams.
