Job Description
Job Title: Purchase OfficerQualification: B.ComExperience: 2 -5 yearsReports to: Purchase ManagerJob Overview: 1. Purchase material for Production and Development teams2. PO Creation3. Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company4. Create Purchase Orders as per data from MRP system5. Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and quality6. Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of final product7. Communicate with suppliers for material / billing issues / feasibility8. Perform regular performance review with suppliers to drive continuous improvements9. Create monthly performance reviews and reports focusing on overall sourcing requirements10. Arrange logistics to transport materialRequirements: 1. Ability to analyze bills of material and drawings to understand key requirements2. Effective verbal and written communication skills
