to manage the procurement operations in our FMCG business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing to support the fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for raw materials, packaging, and other goods.
Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and build strong vendor relationships.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure the best value.
Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and supply market conditions.
Ensure timely procurement of goods to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Coordinate with production, quality, logistics, and finance teams to ensure alignment on procurement needs.
Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and performance reports.
Implement cost-reduction strategies while ensuring quality standards are maintained.
Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and audits.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred.
Experience:
5+ years of procurement/purchasing experience in the FMCG sector.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of FMCG supply chains, vendor management, and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
