Supplier management:
Identify, evaluate, and select potential suppliers. Negotiate contracts and terms, and manage relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality.
Inventory management:
Oversee inventory levels, forecast needs in collaboration with other departments, and devise strategies for managing stock.
Team leadership:
Lead and manage the purchasing department, set goals, provide training, and ensure staff efficiency.
Compliance and reporting:
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, maintain accurate records of procurement activities, and generate purchasing reports for management.
