Job Description

Source and purchase raw materials such as grains, vegetables, spices, dairy, meat, packaging materials, etc. Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, pricing, reliability, and food safety compliance. Obtain and compare quotations to ensure cost-effective procurement. Negotiate prices, credit terms, and delivery schedules. Ensure all purchased materials meet food safety and quality standards (FSSAI / HACCP requirements). Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, GRNs, and inventory levels. Coordinate with production, kitchen, and quality teams to understand daily material requirements. Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and handle delays or issues. Conduct vendor audits and maintain long-term supplier relationships. Monitor market trends, price changes, and material availability. Manage stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company procurement policies.
