Job Overview Company Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchase Manager to join our team. As a Purchase Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all purchasing activities within the manufacturing industry. This role requires a strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory control. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 to 10 years of senior-level experience in purchasing, preferably in the manufacturing industry. This is a full-time position based in Surat, Gujarat, India. Qualifications And Skills Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience as a Purchase Manager in the manufacturing industry, with a minimum of 7 to 10 years of senior-level experience. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory control. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Proficiency in using procurement software and MS Office applications. Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team. Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Roles And Responsibilities Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost savings and improve efficiency in the manufacturing industry. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong relationships. Monitor supplier performance, ensure timely delivery of quality products/materials, and resolve any supplier-related issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of purchasing activities with production and inventory needs. Manage inventory levels, forecast demand, and maintain accurate records of stock and purchases. Implement and maintain procurement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards. Analyze market trends, research new products, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in procurement. Lead a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
