Job Description

Responsible for the procurement of Gearbox materials including shafts, bearings, gears, and oil shields. Manage the purchase of materials required for the assembly of Gearboxes and Rotavators. Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement. Select the best suppliers based on pricing, quality, and delivery performance. Oversee the assembly process of Gearbox components to ensure they meet quality standards. Supervise inventory and storage of Gearbox and Rotavator materials. Ensure all components (shaft, gearbox, bearing, gears, oil shield) are available for assembly. Purchase Jobwork services, ensuring proper quality standards are maintained. Coordinate with external vendors for machining and assembly work related to Gearbox and Rotavator production. Negotiate prices with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement. Review and assess supplier quotes, ensuring the most competitive terms are chosen. Evaluate vendor performance to ensure quality, timeliness, and cost efficiency. Collaborate with the Accounts department to manage payment processing for purchases. Ensure that all purchase-related invoices are processed correctly and promptly. Track and manage purchase orders and deliveries, ensuring proper documentation. Maintain adequate stock levels of critical materials required for assembly. Manage inventory of Gearbox components to avoid shortages and ensure smooth production. Maintain proper documentation for all purchases, orders, and vendor communications. Prepare periodic reports on purchases, stock levels, and vendor performance. Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
