Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for food products and kitchen supplies.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best deals.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
Conduct quality checks on received goods to ensure they meet the restaurant's standards.
Maintain and update purchasing records and documentation.
Coordinate with restaurant managers and chefs to understand their procurement needs.
Manage supplier relationships and resolve any issues that arise.
Analyze market trends and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the food service industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of inventory management software and procurement systems.
