Key Responsibilities
Supplier Sourcing & Evaluation:
Researching and identifying potential vendors based on their quality, pricing, and delivery performance.
Negotiation & Contracting:
Negotiating prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best value for the organization.
Relationship Management:
Developing and maintaining positive, long-term relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
Procurement Coordination:
Collaborating with internal departments (e.g., engineering, production, quality assurance) to understand and fulfill material and component requirements.
Quality Assurance:
Ensuring that all procured materials and components meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Cost Optimization:
Analyzing market trends and identifying cost-saving strategies to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality.
Inventory & Delivery Monitoring:
Tracking delivery schedules and maintaining optimal inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted operations and project timelines.
Performance Analysis:
Evaluating supplier performance and providing regular performance reports.
