The Purchase cum Store Executive is responsible for handling the procurement of materials and supplies and managing the inventory and store operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will ensure timely sourcing, accurate inventory tracking, and proper stock maintenance to support smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities: Purchase Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices, terms, and conditions.
Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
Track inventory levels to determine purchasing needs.
Coordinate with departments to forecast procurement needs.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
Store Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation.
Manage store layout and ensure cleanliness and safety.
Handle inventory audits and report discrepancies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
2+ years of experience in purchasing and/or store management.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office and inventory management software (e.g., Tally, SAP, ERP).
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
