Source and procure fresh produce, meats, spices, packaging, and other essentials as per the kitchen's daily requirements.
Maintain relationships with local vendors and negotiate pricing to ensure best value and quality.
Ensure timely delivery and availability of all materials without compromising quality.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and maintain stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile with records.
Update inventory management systems accurately and consistently.
Vendor Coordination & Documentation:
Track purchase orders, invoices, and receipts for all purchases.
Ensure all purchases are well-documented and aligned with budget guidelines.
Report any discrepancies in supply or inventory to the management team promptly.
Cost Control & Quality Assurance:
Work with kitchen and operations teams to ensure quality standards are met.
Assist in implementing cost-saving measures and minimizing wastage.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in procurement or inventory management, preferably in the food & beverage industry.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Basic understanding of inventory software and Excel.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
