Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility This position works in a complex technical environment, adding new features while resolving issues to current application. Identify, design and develop new solutions or resolve problems while communicating with internal and external organizations. Design corrective action(s) to resolve product or system problems Gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypothesis Ability to Identify, design, develop and validate a new solution Ability to research problems with no known solutions and design solutions for identified problems. Can investigate issues and very infrequently require assistance Ability to manage multiple issues of differing stages of investigation and priority. Ability to work in Agile development environment and familiarity with Agile principles Actively participate in making the team a success by achieving the team objectives Ability to work effectively in a team environment composed of peers and cross-functional members High productivity and accurate and prompt time logging with Proper usage of incident tracking tool - JIRA Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment while maintaining ownership at all times Ability to be focused and a self-starter Have a strong desire for quality, attention to detail and excellent analytical skills Judgment skills needed to assess high-risk areas of a system problem, on which to focus efforts Assist others in estimating task effort and dependencies, responsible for team commitments within the Sprint Work independently with limited supervision Solid troubleshooting & problem-solving skills involving complex systems Deep understanding of Software Development and Quality Assurance best practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills Enhance organization dynamics by building and maintaining internal and external relationships Mandatory compliance to NCR\'s Code of Conduct & Shared Values. Build relationships with people across a variety of functions within the organization. Enhance individual performance and career development by focusing on technical areas and personal skills outside current areas of expertise Continuously develop and maintain pertinent technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills Assess personal skills and schedule training Contributes towards identifying processes, products and services areas of improvements and team with other analysts to improve the process consistent with the NCR improvement approach Basic Qualifications ( Grade 9) Bachelor\'s degree or Master\'s Degree or Engineering in Computer Science / Information Technology Minimum of 2+ years software development experience Technical skills ( Client - .NET) Mandatory knowledge and experience with Object Oriented Programming, development tools, Visual Studio. Broad systems architecture design, planning and implementation experience.
