Communicate and collaborate closely with internal global teams to ensure timeliness and completeness of data entry
To be responsible for database administration taking accountability for:
Data quality and accuracy.
Driving actual data and reducing estimated date within the tool.
Highlighting variance and anomalies to trends and raising as the need arises.
Maintenance of users, removing and retiring of users, ensuring users have access to correct user groups.
Ensuring relevant evidence is available for audit purposes.
Continually find ways to improve data quality and accuracy.
Proactively determine and resolve data problems.
Undertake and detail regular Quality Assurance to improve data integrity
Leverage the reporting capabilities of supporting software.
Provide SME support for EHS data and able to retrieve and present data requests from the EHS and Net Zero teams.
Experience:
3-5 yrs experience in data analysis and data management
Proficient in working in MS excel managing and analysing large quantity of data
Proficient in building data models and Power BI dashboards
Proficient in working on PPTs crafting management information packs
Secondary research and analysis experience will be an added advantage
Knowledge of working with data lakes will also be an added advantage
Understanding of Carbon, Energy, Health and Safety would be an advantage although support and training will be given.
Experience working with quality assurance and data accuracy
Skills:
Data analysis. Statistical methods and data analysis skills/ techniques
Data management. Understand data sources, data organisation and storage.
Data modelling, data cleansing, and data enrichment. Understanding of data modelling and knowledge of data cleansing and standardisation.
Data visualisation. Interpret requirements and present data in a clear and compelling way, using graphical representations and data visualisations.
Quality assurance, validation, and data linkage abilities. Knowledge on how to conduct data quality assurance, validation, and linkage.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Logical and structured approach.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Data visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI and programming languages like Python, R, or SQL.
Good time management skills. Flexible and able to work under stress while managing multiple tasks.
Highly engaged, proactive and assertive.
Ability to deal with ambiguity and work independently
Great teammate who will proactively engage and build cross geographical relationships.
