Project Procurement Lead

Job Description
The role requires leading the procurement wing in the project management team. The position will be responsible for integrating Procurement into the project management process and project teams.
Reporting to the Business Unit Head, the major roles and responsibilities include
- Establishing proper sourcing processes, controlling Procurement activities in the project, and informing all involved within Procurement to deliver optimum impact for the business
- Applying Procurement regulations as per Compliance, organization standards
- Identifying particular Procurement risks, opportunities, potential challenges, claims, and market forces during the entire project, together with Commodity Management, to avoid potential damage
- Preparing of Procurement plan BID & Execution
- Driving Procurement strategies in projects and ensuring their implementation of KPIs
- Supporting in getting the best rates during the execution phase
- Performing Supplier Evaluation, Qualification, development and Management
An ideal candidate is an engineer with 12-15 years of experience in managing project procurement. They should have handled the procurement of commodities at the site. They should have hands-on experience in strategic sourcing and vendor management for various building technology or ELV components. They should have clear and concise communication skills and should have worked in a cross-functional environment.
