At Outsized, we match clients in financial services and management consulting to high-quality independent consultants and boutique/specialist firms for the execution of their key projects.

Our client, a global consulting firm, is looking for consultants to support them on a Large Capital Program Management project based out of Algeria and Saudi Arabia. They are looking for someone with prior experience in managing large plant construction projects.

Below summarises the responsibilities of the consultants:

- Reviewing and enhancing the project schedule for accuracy

- Facilitating planning and scheduling workshops

- Assisting in the implementation of digital solutions for managing large-scale projects

- Coordinating cross-functionally among various stakeholders, such as the Project

- Team, Project Management Consultant (PMC), Design Team, and others

- Maintaining daily coordination with the PMC and subcontractors to ensure timely project execution

- Establishing a governance framework, including conducting reviews, monitoring key metrics, and preparing reports

An ideal candidate would have:

- 5 to 10 years of experience in managing large plant construction projects

- Experience of having worked with either an engineering/construction/steel firm or experience of being a project management consultant for construction projects focused on plant construction

- A post-graduation degree from a top-tier university

- A project management certification is mandatory

This is a contractual opportunity, initially for a 12-month period, with the possibility of extension. The consultant will be expected to work on-site in Surat for five days a week, with the option for weekend flyback arrangements.
