Opportunity with Primus Partners - Project Manager

Primus Partners is looking for an experienced urban planning professional who understands the economic, social and physical needs of the city. We are seeking candidates who embrace a collaborative approach and hold a technical and analytical skill set to deliver high quality outcomes for urban planning and infrastructure development streams. The job description for the same is as below:

Location : Chandigarh, India

Experience and Education

- Masters in Planning/ PGDM/MBA

- At least 10 years\' of work experience in urban and Infrastructure development/real estate projects for government/public sector clients.

Skills and Attributes:

1) Knowledge of and/or ability to learn

- Urban Planning/Master Planning

- Urban Policy/by-laws/guideline formulation and advocacy

- Functions and services of Town and Country Planning

- Collects , assimilate, analyses and interpret data and indicators regarding urban conditions

- Design, development, and implementation of projects related to urban infrastructure

- Stakeholder Consultations, Surveys, Studies on Urban economics, livelihood, socio- economic behaviour etc.

1) Capacity Building interventions for skillset and behavioural improvement/change.

2) Strong communication skills: written, verbal, interpersonal

3) Familiarity with One or more of the following: Resolution of stressed assets/ National

Company Law Tribunal/RERA Act/EDC Recovery

Primary Roles and Responsibility :

A. Review, analysis, benchmarking and recommendations on urban development, policies/regulations/legislative framework ensuring compliance and upgradation at the same time.

B. Analysis of existing conditions, needs, goals, work programs, capacity and recommendations and development of plans/strategies catering to changing conditions and needs in urban development and management ecosystem.

C. Development and drafting of grant request proposals for urban development.

D. Identification, assessment and recommendation of new technologies and IT tools to improve the efficiency of urban planning and urban service delivery by the government department.

E. Stakeholder consultations and management plans and facilitations.

F. Perform public procurement for products, services and works related requirements.

G. Manage multiple projects with attention to time management, grant/contract requirements, budget development, project metrics, team communication and timely provision of deliverables.
