ob Title : Head Construction

Reports To : Managing Director

Location : Coimbatore, Kangayam, Ooty

Head construction is fully responsible for the overall success and development of any project, leading it from beginning to end.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work with the architect and construction crew to ensure that each project

is feasible.

2. Manage job sites for both new construction and remodeling projects

3. Create schedules for construction crew and ensure all projects are fully staffed

4. Managing a project planning, contracting, execution, and monitoring team;

5. Understanding of Structural Design and Civil Engineering

6. Ensuring that all necessary equipment is on-site

7. Ensuring that budget costs for wages, contractors, materials, and equipment are not exceeded

8. Oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure that quality standards are met.

9. Deal with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to reach an agreement.

10. Prepare and submit project estimates

QUALIFICATIONS:

Masters Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Experience in remodeling projects (Institutions) preferred

10+ years experience in new construction and in a supervisory capacity

Extensive experiencing managing budgets for large construction projects

Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes and equipment

Ability to manage multiple projects at once with no decline in quality

control

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From 45,000.00 per month
