Position Summary

The incumbent is expected to provide leading support in managing program/project financials and implementing strong governance processes and best practices. Responsible for successfully designing, developing, and publishing various portfolio reporting & dashboards/decks for senior leadership team (leveraging the BI tools such as Power BI, PowerApps etc.).

He/she is expected to lead some of the transformation and optimization initiatives to streamline and/or re-design the processes. Also, expected to take up end-to-end Program & Project Delivery and Control activities of inflight and/or new Programs/Projects.

Job Responsibilities

Financial Management

• Liaison and coordinate with Program/Project Managers for an efficient and effective financial management (end-to-end) of variety of concurrent projects/programs

• Actively participate in planning, estimating, budgeting, financing, funding, managing, and controlling costs so that the project can be completed within the approved budget

• Manage yearly program/project budget process, actuals + forecast, variance & impact analysis, accruals, invoice tracking etc.

• Act as financial advisor to Program/Project Mgrs. as well as Leadership team and keep them abreast of potential risks to program/projects in terms of cost planning as a result of scope/milestone changes, resource deployment etc.

• Serve as Point of Contact (POC) and communicate project financial status adequately to all participants including leadership team to ensure that appropriate financial management information is regularly interpreted and made available, highlighting problems and suggesting remedial actions

• Review Project status from PPM Tools like Clarity, Cognos, PAR (Project Approval Request) and discuss any variances in actual vs baseline with Program/Project Manager to be reported out to Executives/Sr. Leadership

• Establishing & managing governance processes, ensuring compliance with the organization\xe2\x80\x99s project delivery framework

• Work independently on intermediate to complex level data integration and analysis assignments

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education

• Any Graduate / Post Graduate
• Candidates with Business Administration and Finance stream would be preferred (MBA)

Experience

• 7 to 10 years of combined working experience in Program & Project Management
• Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in Program & Project Financial Management and Metrics Reporting & Analytics.
