Job Title: Project Engineer

Reports to: Project Execution Manager

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: -

• Project engineer shall be responsible to commence work onsite with safe work permits.
• Project engineer shall be responsible to "Manage contract work force" in accordance with job requirement.
• Project engineer shall be responsible to prepare "Annual Rate Contract" & Manage all ARC contract on Time to keep ARC work ON.
• Project engineer to prepare BOQ, Isometric, Measurement sheet approval, Invoice approval etc..
• Project engineer shall be responsible to release work through Work order process & ensure work compliance on site as per Engineering drawings.
• Project engineer shall be responsible to review engineering drawing & prepare BOM accordingly with engineering standards & Specifications.
• To promote business growth by implementing / introducing new products at the site by debottlenecking existing mechanical setup or establishing new facility.
• To identify new opportunities for improvements in terms of safety, quality and cost.
• To work on identified opportunities for further detailing and Implementation.
• Safely decommission and dismantle retired assets. Responsible for complete engineering and end to end projects Execution activities of the site Responsible for implementing Huntsman process safety standard Planning and Costing of Proposed Capex Projects

• Budget estimation with +/-10% accuracy for Mechanical major & Minor items.
• Time schedule (Gantt-chart) preparation with best possible way to achieve desired project goal on date.
• EHS requirement considerations in Capex Projects.
• Finalization of complete Equipment specifications in discussion within Team. Approval of specification & ensure Order specification release on with Purchase order.
• Finalization of complete technical specification of Equipment, Commissioning and Complete Job till hand over with documentation. Technical specifications, Job orders for the completeness of Projects.
• Finalizing Vendor with Purchase Department
• To co-ordinate with various Internal and External agencies involved in Projects.
• Project engineer shall be responsible to carryout inspections to ensure desired Engineering standards on equipment & equipment readiness as per approved engineering drawing & QAP.
• Project Engineer shall be responsible for Pipe walk, Execution of equipment, piping route, proper valve installations, pressure testing, checklist preparation, ensure proper supports etc.
• Project engineer to engage in PSSR to consider desired safety aspects in projects.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 7-9 Yrs. of experience in Project management & control

• Construction, Projects Installation and Commissioning activities for new Chemicals/ Formulation Unit
• Good awareness on Engineering Fundamentals and capable for reading and interpreting Engineering Documents
