Job Description


At Grattitude Synergy, we provide consulting services in the field of energy efficiency and sustainability in the built environment. Our core offerings include consulting services, simulations and analytics, and training. Since its inception in 2018, our team of experts has delivered certifications across IGBC and LEED for new and existing buildings (over 4 million sq.ft.) and energy simulations for 60+ projects (over 6 million sq.ft.) of various typologies and green building facilitation and commissioning for over 10+ projects, across the globe.
A Project Engineer at Grattitude Synergy is an entry-level position, targeted to offer an immersive learning experience and a fast-track career growth prospect to deserving and outperforming candidates. The candidate shall be exposed to various aspects of high performance buildings and trained in the key skills and expertise required to execute green building projects. The candidate will assist an expert from our team in ongoing-projects and participate in on-job learning.

Expectations

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language
  • Good Technical Writing skills
  • Familiarity with HVAC fundamentals and basic engineering analysis including thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics and energy/mass balance equations
  • Self-learner, confident, “doer” attitude with resourcefulness and a solution mindset & should be comfortable with multitasking. Should be able to work on shorter deadlines as and when required.
  • Should be willing to work as an Individual Contributor & act as a Team Player at times.
  • Passionate about overall sustainability & green building consulting
  • Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure
  • Adaptive and agile – should be able to learn software as well as conduct on-site audits & assessments under minimal supervision.
  • Adept with soft-skills such as MS office, AutoCAD basics.
  • Good understanding of electrical HVAC controls, motors, pumps, energy bills – desired but not mandatory.
  • Experience with analysis software (eQuest, DesignBuilder, PVsyst, etc.) – desired but not mandatory.


Responsibilities
  • Participate in research works, process optimization and creating case studies
  • Participate in creating content such as technical blogs, articles, presentations, case studies and comparative analyses
  • Gain on-job understanding of energy codes and green building rating systems
  • Research high-performance building strategies and technologies for both internal purposes and client needs
  • Prepare technical reports, tools and calculators
  • Provide technical, organizational and scheduling support to senior level consultants
Candidate Profile
  • Recent graduates in B.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch.
  • Experience – 0 to 1 years. Freshers may also apply.
