: - MEP ENGINEER The purpose of this position is to gain an in-depth understanding of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. The value you will deliver will be summarized in client reports or databases of observed MEP equipment condition in Warehousing, Logistic and Cold Chain industry. Our projects revolve around delivering considered data to demanding clients in a timely manner. Project management responsibilities will include self-scheduling, coordinating, and executing site to confirm site observations, and finally reporting to communicate findings. Each team member is expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously (ideally 2-3 at a time) and communicate proactively with leadership if delivery timeline is in jeopardy. The successful candidate will be personable, a very strong communicator and team player. Additionally, they will have a strong work ethic, and a good sense of humor to help them navigate the challenges surrounding a project while keeping morale high. Roles and Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Assist and coordinate with designers and engineers \xc2\xb7 Check drawings for dimension and other technical correctness. \xc2\xb7 Thoroughly know 2D & 3D Modelling. Reviewing information for completeness and accuracy \xc2\xb7 In electrical layouts, divides circuits, cable calculations and prepare SLD for it. \xc2\xb7 Prepare BOQs for CCTV, Networking, PA, FAS, IDS, ACS, Biometric. \xc2\xb7 Design of fire protection systems and plumbing for industrial, commercial buildings. \xc2\xb7 Preparation of Fire Fighting and Plumbing BOQs. \xc2\xb7 Preparing P&I Ds *(Piping and instrumentation diagram) for utilities \xc2\xb7 Design development of Warehousing, Logistic and Cold Chain industry layouts based on client inputs. \xc2\xb7 Design layouts of Warehousing, Logistic and Cold Chain industry & plan complete Electrical, Security & Surveillance, Networking, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Fire Detection, Fire Extinguisher, EPBAX etc. \xc2\xb7 Design of Dust collection and fume extraction system layouts based on requirements. \xc2\xb7 Design development of HVAC layouts Qualification & Experience \xc2\xb7 To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. \xc2\xb7 The candidate should be a Diploma - Mechanical, worked as Draughtsman with Minimum 2 years of experience and above experience, and should have knowledge on Design & drafting of PHE layouts, Fire Protection systems, HVAC, Fabrication layout \xc2\xb7 Minimum 2 years of experience \xe2\x80\x93 preferably focused on commercial building evaluation or commercial design experience with a general understanding of MEP building systems. \xc2\xb7 Excellent written and verbal communication skills. \xc2\xb7 Strong organizational and analytical skills. \xc2\xb7 Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to clients. \xc2\xb7 Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis. \xc2\xb7 Ability to adaptively solve problems in high-pressure situations. Requires strong analytical and quantitative skills. \xc2\xb7 Proficiency in using computer and smart phone programs which may include PDF programs, document upload/download websites, municipal agency record request websites, data collection applications and other virtual meeting programs (Zoom, Chime, Teams, Skype, etc.) \xc2\xb7 Excellent time management and organizational skills. The position requires simultaneously managing electronic deliverables for several ongoing assignments and operating effectively while remote.
