Job Summary
We are looking for a Project Engineer to manage and execute home lift installation projects from site readiness to commissioning and handover. The role involves close coordination with clients, civil contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute home lift projects from site readiness to final handover
Coordinate with customers, architects, civil contractors, and internal teams
Conduct site inspections to assess shaft readiness and civil requirements
Prepare and monitor project schedules, material planning, and manpower allocation
Supervise installation activities to ensure quality, safety, and timelines
Coordinate electrical and mechanical installation and commissioning activities
Resolve site-level issues related to drawings, shaft readiness, or material shortages
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company quality norms
Maintain project documentation, progress reports, and handover records
Required Qualifications & Experience
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering
2-5 years of experience in lifts, elevators, or construction-related projects
Hands-on experience in site execution and coordination
Basic understanding of elevator systems (hydraulic, traction, MRL, home lifts)
Willingness to travel to project sites within and outside Kolkata
Skills & Competencies
Strong coordination and communication skills
Good planning and organizational abilities
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to handle multiple sites simultaneously
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting
Preferred (Added Advantage)
Experience in home lifts / residential elevators
Knowledge of installation, commissioning, and safety norms
Exposure to client handling and contractor management
