You will be working as Project Engineer - Electrics and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Process Industries Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Senior Engineering Manager and will be responsible for designing authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Completing assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. Your responsibilities Understanding engineering scope for projects from RFPs, tender documents and undertaking basic electrical engineering for the projects pertaining to mining, cement, metals, pulp and paper Undertaking equipment engineering activities, such as equipment sizing calculations, specifications for electrical items, review supplier offers, review and approve supplier drawings and documents Planting tray layout engineering for electrical scope based on the 2D-3D layout drawings furnished by customer/OEM Collaborating with Supply Chain Management to coordinate requests to subcontractors along with preparation of equipment specification and review of offers Identifying the areas of improvement, bring state-of-art technology, optimize and implement them wherever possible, incorporate lessons learnt from past projects. Supporting for bid & proposal activities for electrical scope of supply in process industries Identifying potential risks in the bids, quotations and estimates, and in any related contract agreements across customers/channels/suppliers Formulating competitive bids/estimates/quotations, taking into account best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial considerations for electrical package of bids Your background Bachelor\'s or Diploma in Technology or Electrical or Electronics engineering Minimum 6-8 years of experience in electrical power distribution system for large process plants, plant engineering, power system protection, AutoCAD, ETAP/MI POWER/NEPLAN Good Knowledge on IEDs, relay programming, troubleshooting and 800 XA Willing to work and travel in a flexible schedule to customer place for technical meetings / presentations as support to sales team/engineering team, must be able to handle multiple projects and tasks More about us Process Industries division delivers complete electrification and automation solutions, industry-specific products and lifecycle services across industries.
