Project Engineer

You will be working as Project Engineer and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Engineering Manager and will be responsible for designing authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects, cost effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.

Your responsibilities

• Must be able to carry out PMS engineering starting from Internal KOM till the Inspection of the electrical equipment and support the site team for commissioning and handing over of the field of Electrical equipment.
• Must be able to carryout site survey for estimation and finalization of the instrument BOM and support PM for finalization of the project schedule and assist for customer review meetings.
• Must ensure document submission to customer as per agreed Document Control Index and be responsible to ensure quality of engineering deliverables to PM, SCM and the customer.
• Must coordinate with vendor and interact with customer/consultant for seeking engineer approvals and support SCM & PM for procurement related engineer and for cost optimization.
• Must submit the drawings and documents required for carrying out site erection.
• Coordinate with Service contractor engineers while executing the project, for meeting the required scope in target period.

Your background

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in EE/computer science engineering.
• 5 – 8 year's experience in ABB 800xA Based PMS , CILMS , EDMS , ECS , IEC61850 , SAS , Load shedding, Load sharing , PQ Control , SCAP , Synchronization, Familiar to Control builder, GOOSE, PCM600, IET600 , IED, MFM, Usage of Modbus, IEC103, Profibus protocols , Familiar to CPP , CCPP. Multisystem integration.
• Experience in Design, Engineering and commissioning of PMS ,EMS, ECS, CILMS. Preferable experience in Oil / Gas/ Petrochemical plant projects.
• Leading Design & Engineering during execution of Projects, handling a team of support engineers for carrying out Design, Engineering & Commissioning of Power management system , related Electrical equipment’s items.
• To interact with the customer for seeking Engineering document approvals in the project and interact with vendors for evaluating their technical offers & support SCM during finalization of vendors.
