As our global footprint continues to spread across the world, we are looking for a Project Engineer with a focus on wind turbine testing to join our team in Bangalore, India. What youâll learn & achieve:: Work under the supervision of the global team and support the measurement and testing projects in India and globally. He/she will essentially do Organization, test set up installations / operation / maintenance / data analysis and reporting and evaluation of measurements and tests on wind turbines.
Further, the engineer will be responsible for independent execution and timely completion of projects by analyzing project scope and determining project specifications, coordinating with clients during the course of the project and preparing reports for clients.
A senior role to spearhead and support the Measurement activities in India which include Measurement equipment installations / operations / maintenance / data preparation and reporting/hardware assembly/maintenance and workshop activities. The individual would also support Business Development and other administration requirements pertaining to Measurements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project Co-ordination and Customer management
  • Project management for the testing / measurements
  • Business development and customer relationship management
  • measurement system installation and performing on site visits
  • Co-ordination with third parties/vendors for the measurement system , met mast to the test site and other onsite measurement preparation works.
  • Data Analysis and Report preparation according international/national standards
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participation in an internationally operating team and providing required support in day to day activities
  • Communication with business partners at home and abroad
What makes you a great fit::
  • Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering or any equivalent field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Renewable Energy Measurements and Testing or in High Voltage testing laboratories
  • Excellent knowledge in statistical analysis and visualization of data
  • Willingness to travel (within India and outside the country)
  • Willingness to work at site (wind and solar project fields) for longer measurement periods (over a month or more)
  • Good communication skills (English speaking and writing)
  • Programming skills in a procedural language
  • Customer focus, commitment, and independent work
  • Experience in the continuous development of work processes (Lean Six Sigma)
