Project Engineer
Job Description
Work with the global GTIS Windows and SQL team to deliver on roadmap and other items related to the project. Implementing Project driven changes and requests. Install and Configure antivirus, backups, deployment tools. Development and drive of improvements and focusing on process optimization and establishment of best practices. Problem resolution including: root cause analysis and implementation of remedies. Providing advice and consultancy aimed at minimizing the occurrence and impact of service incidents through process improvement. Knowledge and use of the change/configuration management system. Knowledge of Active Directory principles, structure, and group policy. Strong knowledge of SQL Database architecture and migration strategy. Provide SME platform advice and consultancy to optimize services and mitigate impact of service affecting issues. Sound knowledge Storage and Network technologies. Build strong relationships with internal team, discuss and understand infrastructure architecture. Experience of operating system performance management and tooling. Knowledge of virtualization and cloud technologies. Secure Access Solutions. Being compliant to all risk and audit requirements.
