Job Title - Securities Services Project Manager

Location - Pune

You will work as part of a cross-functional agile delivery team, including analysts, developers and testers. You will bring an innovative approach to software development, focusing on using the latest technologies and practices, as part of a relentless focus on business value.

As a \xe2\x80\x9cTheme Integrator\xe2\x80\x9d (Project Manager) within Securities Services you will use your experience of leading global projects in financial services to lead the project to strategically enhance our credit risk capabilities.

Your key responsibilities

• Working with stakeholders to understand and refine project scope, globally.
• Take the project team members and stakeholders on a journey from high level scope statements to ever-more-refined requirements.
• Work with globally distributed delivery teams to estimate work and plan delivery.
• Plan and oversee the execution of testing.
• Own all aspects of stakeholder communications \xe2\x80\x93 in terms of regular meetings / dialogue, and more formal/documented reporting (finding the right balance between effectiveness and efficiency with regard to the documentation required).
• Prepare for and lead workshops, operating committees and steering committees.
• Get hands on with the subject matter, in order to talk credibly on the project deliverables.
• You will be goal-focused, influencing all parties to ensure deadlines are met.

Your skills and experience

• Experience of leading projects where solutions are delivered via Agile Technology delivery methods.
• Experience of leading projects of approximately 12-24 months duration, spanning multiple countries, requiring change in multiple applications, across multiple departments.
• Strong influencing skills \xe2\x80\x93 within a project team, with software delivery teams, with delivery partners upon who we have dependencies, and with stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, tailoring approach to a range of audiences, including creating and delivering steering committee materials.
• Experience leading business critical projects with non-negotiable deadline is required.
• Experience of leading change in financial services is required.
• Ideally the candidate would have experience in Custody and / or transaction processing.
• Experience of Securities Services and Credit would be a major advantage.
• Experienced in using Jira.
• Strong in use of Microsoft Office tools, primarily Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
