Job Title \xe2\x80\x93 Project Management Officer, Associate

Location - Bangalore

Role Description:

This role will be responsible for supporting the Risk and Control (R&C) team in tracking and managing the delivery of Annual objectives. The objectives currently cover three Pillars ;

  • Pillar 1 covers Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) which forms the heart of what we do.
  • Pillar 2 ensures that all Technology related Audit and SII matters are recorded and tracked through to a successful completion, often over an extended timescale of up to two years.
  • Pillar 3 covers oversight of the Regulatory and Market driven demands arising on our Business over all of the 20 plus domains in which we operate.
The custodian of this role will ensure that we always know where we stand regarding our commitments and to be able to report both to the Pillar Leads, the Head of Section and the Business CIO-1 on our status, as and when required.

Your key responsibilities:
  • You will work with the Functional Leads for each Pillar and support them in their work.
  • As a function of the above you will agree annual milestones with the Pillar Leads to assist in assessing progress against plan.
  • These milestones will assist you in establishing a Roadmap for the R&C section.
  • The Analyst will focus on ensuring the Risk and Control section have quality metrics and reports available at all times.
  • Working closely with Tribe Leads and Engineering Leads you will seek to ensure that prioritization and progress is monitored and collate tracking information from Jira to ensure Technical Managers are appraised of progress and any deviation from milestones.
  • On a monthly basis you will ensure that three key reports are made available for each of the Pillars showing progress against plan.
  • You may become involved in the Vendor Risk Management process which the R&C section also has a responsibility for. This may entail interaction with Vendors and/or DB resources involving collating information for Case Specialist review.
  • Setting up SteerCo\xe2\x80\x99s. OpCo\xe2\x80\x99s and/or Working Groups to facilitate Governance around specific long-term deliveries associated with Pillars 2 & 3. (Audit & SIIs and Reg & Market matters).
  • Minuting the meetings arising from the above activities and tracking agreed actions.
  • The Analyst functionally reports to the Head of Risk and Control for Security Services technology.
Your skills and experience:
  • Knowledge of project management concepts and software development as a distinct function
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel with an ability to create meaningful presentations and explain the rationale behind the information being presented.
  • Knowledge of JIRAs and SharePoint would be essential.
  • Knowledge of Tableau would be helpful \xe2\x80\x93 creating, managing, analysis of data along with previous experience in using Confluence to document solutions.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in the related role.

  • Articulate and coherent communication, both written and oral. Fluent English (verbal and written).
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and get the job done. Attention to detail and structured.
  • Capable of being assertive and/or diplomatic when needed.
  • Comfortable in communicating with senior management.
  • Responsive, diligent, and able to analyze detailed data sets.
  • Excellent collaboration/ mediation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education:
  • Commerce, business or accounting degree from an accredited college or university
