Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Assist Project Manager in

planning, coordinating, and monitoring Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects

including HT/LT lines, substations, transformers, and distribution networks. Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution of T&D projects. Track project schedules, monitor work progress, and report deviations to management. Review

drawings, BOQ, work orders, and material consumption sheets

related to T&D projects. Support procurement team for timely availability of electrical materials such as conductors, insulators, switchgear, and cables. Prepare and maintain project documentation including work schedules, site reports, DPRs (Daily Progress Reports), and MIS updates. Ensure compliance with

safety, quality, and regulatory standards

as per electrical industry norms. Liaise with

clients, utility companies, and statutory authorities

for approvals, inspections, and certifications. Support billing and measurement teams by validating site progress and quantity checks. Identify risks in project execution and escalate critical issues to management.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

Transmission & Distribution (HT/LT lines, substations, transformers, and distribution networks)

. Familiarity with

electrical codes, safety standards, and utility regulations

. Proficiency in

MS Project/Primavera, AutoCAD, MS Excel, and ERP systems

. Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle multiple sites and ensure timely delivery.

Desired Candidate Profile

3-6 years of experience

in

Transmission & Distribution projects (utilities, EPC, or contracting firms)

. Diploma/Degree in

Electrical Engineering

(mandatory). Hands-on experience in

project coordination, site management, and client interaction

. Knowledge of

material specifications and vendor management

in T&D works. Strong reporting, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
