Relocation Authorized:National - Family Telework Type: Full-Time Office/Project Work Location:New Delhi SUMMARY: Responsible for Planning / scheduling, cost engineering, cost estimating and cost analysis/control activities for a major project. Directs cost estimating, analysis, and control activities. Directs schedule development, maintenance, monitoring, impact identification, and recovery plan development activities. Directs the preparation and presentation of project/program cost forecasts. Supports project/program organizational and administrative activities. Provides generally nonroutine cost engineering/planning and scheduling guidance. Identifies, analyzes, and provides innovative solutions to cost engineering and planning/scheduling problems. Responsible for the development, execution, and management of all facets of a Project Controls plan / program. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Responsible for effective execution of Project Controls programs on an assigned project/program in accordance with Bechtel Group, Inc. and applicable GBU Project Controls Department Procedures. Reviews and approves Earned Revenue Determination Data, Proposal Financial Summaries, Project Financial Status Reports, and Charge for Project Working Capital calculations for assigned project/program. Plans staffing needs for assigned project/program. Prepares, coordinates, and directs Project Controls presentations to Bechtel and client management, as required. Participates in the development and training of assigned personnel and the implementation of on-the-job and classroom training programs. Prepares the Project Controls Plan for assigned project/program. Provides leadership in terms of Project Controls activities such as Planning, Schedule Development, Change Management, Forecasting, Cost, Trends, and Claims. Provides leadership and guidance for the analysis of cost & planning efforts / reports. Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications: Basic: Thorough knowledge of and demonstrated experience in directing cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, control, and analysis, and planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control, and analysis, in the field and the home office. Demonstrated skill in management, supervisory, and personnel administrative functions. Skilled in oral and written communication, with demonstrated ability to present Project Controls information to management/client. Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing, and solving problems. Expert level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes. Demonstrated expertise in delivery, communication, and training of risk processes and procedures. Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning & cost engineering functions, which include planning reports, cost control and cost analysis, at site & Home office. Knowledge of supervision, personnel administration, and training of technical and non-technical personnel. Knowledge in capital cost and services estimating Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing, and providing innovative solutions to cost problems. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 20 years of relevant experience. Strong communication, leadership, planning and organization skills. Prior demonstrated experience of leading team of planners & cost engineers.
