Basic Function

The person would be involved in providing Project Controls Services from Mumbai office to NA/EAI Sites. This includes the generation and analysis of Project Data for presentation to senior management team, development of project control plans, schedules, application of change management system to ensure capital discipline and ensuring use of common methods and standard reporting formats

Roles & Responsibilities

• Collect and Analyse project data and present for Senior Project Management review
• Project Planning, Scheduling activities using Primavera Planning software
• Prepare Project cost and schedule progress reports
• Prepare budgets, forecasting using cost engineering principles such as work breakdown structure, earned value, contingency allocation including Cost Controls
• Function in an advisory role to Project Management and generate alerts involving issues with cost overruns/ schedule slippages
• Plan activities during Engineering, Procurement and Construction phases
• Critically examine schedules from Contractors and provide support to Project Management
• Lead, guide and mentor other Project Controls Engineers
• Collaborate with Contractors to collect Data
• Responsible for managing engineering project data and provide insightful reports to senior management for decision making
• Coordinate with contractors/ other sites to get required data

Min. Qualifications

• Education: Degree /Diploma in Engineering Work Experience:
• Minimum 7-15 years post qualification functional experience as Project Controls Engineer in reputed Engineering Companies, in areas of cost control, scheduling, and construction progress measurement.
• Functional Competencies - Project control systems - Project control reports - Cost engineering principles including work breakdown structure, earned value, contingency allocation - Cost Controls - Familiarity with Planning of activities during Engineering, Procurement and Construction phases - People Management - Software knowledge in SAP PS Module, Primavera - Good Communication skills
