Project Assistant - Reliability Description Applies developing business process and project management skills within an area of business or technical specialty under the supervision of a project manager. Develops skills to manage small portions of well defined projects. Provides administrative and logistics support for a project team and project manager. Serves as a support resource on projects and work assignments; developing basic knowledge of effective project management and general business understanding. Assists in identifying, tracking, and working with others to resolve project issues while developing skills to do this independently. Helps to monitor and communicate project status to project team while developing skills to do this independently. Assists with budget planning and tracking, research, and analytical support; provides administrative support for the design and development of project plans and timelines. Assists with managing project risk; developing how to use quality tools to identify areas of risk. Supports documenting and sharing team learnings with other teams; uses lessons learned from other sources to enhance the success of the project. Maintains project notes, databases, and other records; monitors measures and communicates with Project Manager on status of specific projects and assignments. Project Issue and Risk Management - Manages the process to identify, assess and prioritize issues and risks using recommended tools and processes to minimize, monitor, and control the probability and/or impact of negative events or to maximize the realization of positive events. Education, Licenses, Certifications High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. College or equivalent degree preferred. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through training or on-the-job experience. This resource will be part of CGSA Quality and need to work for one customer of CGSA quality for reliability analytics work . o Knowledge of engine and Genset and its parts function and failure modes o Knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) o Excel programming (VBA) , Power Pivot experience desirable. o Knowledge of statistical software packages (eg Minitab, Weibull , Winsmith, JMP,R-Programming) is preferable . o Knowledge of engine performance measurement is desired. o Awareness of warranty data analysis and life data analysis is preferable. o Experience of working in service and Quality function is desirable. o Sound knowledge of handing big data sets and draw meaningful conclusion from it . o Six Sigma yellow belt certified or Green Belt trained. Work Area- Reliability data analysis for different Products with the help of above skills. Present the analysis report in front of customer and explain the problems as well as improvement after previous actions .
