Job Description

Work with Oracle's world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle's global infrastructure.

As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analyze of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
What You will Do Manage Oracle Cloud services at L1/L2 Levels. Manage security risks, issues, and work end-to-end through the architecture and engineering workflow.. Navigate through technically complex setup spanning operating systems, network, storage, virtualization tier, applications, routing, load balancers, kubernetes clusters to identify and resolve challenging issues. Install, configure, and administer complex technology platforms. Contribute to and influence the IT infrastructure architecture and deployment decisions in Oracle Cloud. What You Need to Have To get past step one, you need to have the following knowledge, skills, and experience.
Education and Work Experience BS Computer Science or equivalent qualification from a renowned institute. Certification in Linux administration in any distribution or Oracle Certifications. 3+ years of experience supporting production environments on Linux,
Cloud. Prior experience as a Cloud Operations Engineer or DevOps Engineer Technical Qualifications Working Experience in virtualization technologies, such as Xen ,Oracle Virtual Machines, VMware based technologies. Strong working and troubleshooting experience in Linux/Unix administration, Kubernetes,Docker Expert level experience in the deployment and support of infrastructure and applications Strong ability to solve operational problems using scripting and the ability to identify and automate common routines. Experience with Ticketing tools like Jira. Knowledge of Content Management like Wikis Able to code in python, shell, Ansible,pl/sql. Working with versioninig tools like Git/BitBucket. Able to work with monitoring tools – Prometheus,Grafana. Able to automate Infrastructure with Terraform. Experience with CI/CD Tools such as Jenkins. Knowledge on Databases – sql and nosql. Working Experience in Cloud technologies like AWS,MS Azure or Oracle Cloud. Experience with Tomcat, Apache HTTP server,Nginx, Oracle FMW, SOA, ActiveMQ, TCP/IP Networking is an added plus.
Soft Skill Qualifications Willingness to learn new technologies and openness to work in rotating weekend and evening shifts on demand. Ability to collaborate and communicate across functional borders. Desire to provide exceptional customer support. Willingness to learn new technologies. Strong ability to analyze and solve operational problems across functional components. Previous experience in large scale Incident and Problem Management (ITIL based operational model) highly desirable.
