PATH is a global nonprofit dedicated to achieving health equity. With more than 40 years of experience forging multisector partnerships, and with expertise in science, economics, technology, advocacy, and dozens of other specialties, PATH develops and scales up innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing health challenges.
PATH is looking for a highly motivated, self-starter, analytical professional possessing a ‘will do attitude’ to work with the omnipresent and dynamic Digital Health team to support the program work in the South Asia Hub including but not limited to India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar. The selected candidate will get an opportunity to work and contribute to a growing portfolio of impactful work in the digital health space across multiple program verticals, including Neglected Tropical Diseases, Tuberculosis and HIV, Mother and Child Health and Nutrition, Vaccines, Impact Lab, and PHC. In addition, the role would also be an interface with the global teams and country offices in PATH as well as external stakeholders including key donors, partners, and government agencies.
Building a common platform for stakeholders of Digital Health
In 2015 health was added as a critical component of the government’s vision of a “Digital India.” This vision turned into action when the National Digital Health Mission, now known as the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), was established in 2020 with the singular goal of providing integrated digital health infrastructure across the country.
As part of its focus on strengthening the overall adoption of Digital Health, PATH will develop a consortium of stakeholders who are interested in areas of Digital Health. The consortium will focus on being the common platform for digital health where stakeholders contextualize, align and facilitate appropriate and transformative digital solutions to the country's digital health vision.
