Job Summary

As a Procurement Operations Program Manager, you are part of the NetApp Procurement team responsible for managing and supporting Procurement operational processes, tools/technology, reporting/analytics, and data management.
Working for the Director of Procurement Operations, and with your peers in NetApp Global Procurement, you will serve as a business interface for many cross-functional operational topics.
In your role as Procurement Operations Program Manager, you will perform simple to complex operations tasks and manage and provide support to daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational programs, escalations, and challenges.
To be successful in this role the ability to collaborate, build consensus and alignment will be critical as you work with internal and external stakeholders to support the building and implementation of the operational functional strategies that serve the Global Procurement organization\'s growing needs. You also must have excellent communication and facilitation skills, problem solving skills and be a motivated self-starter.

Job Requirements

Essential Functions:

  • This Program Manager position will work closely with senior-level Procurement Operations Program Managers as well as the Director of Procurement Operations. The position will assist with and support many of the key strategic programs and projects underway or planned within Procurement Operations:
o Support Corporate Card (AmEx) program, such responsibilities as -
\xef\x82\xa7 Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on corporate card policies, procedures, and best practices.
\xef\x82\xa7 Troubleshoot in collaboration with finance and IT teams any transactions not integrated into the company\'s expense reporting system.
\xef\x82\xa7 Generate regular reports on corporate card usage, trends, and expenses for management review.
\xef\x82\xa7 Assist in analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
\xef\x82\xa7 Validate quarterly rebate and provide rebate forecasts to Procurement and Finance teams.
o Support M&A Leader for Procurement, such responsibilities as -
\xef\x82\xa7 Assisting in due diligence on potential suppliers and vendors during the M&A process.
\xef\x82\xa7 Support the execution of procurement integration plans post-acquisition.
\xef\x82\xa7 Support alignment of procurement processes, policies, and systems between merging entities.
\xef\x82\xa7 Assist in collaboration with internal stakeholders and support communications with external stakeholders, vendors, and suppliers.
o Support all Holistic Risk Programs (including Supply Chain/Procurement ESG risks).
o Support Director of Procurement Operation with CPO Chief of Staff responsibilities, such as: maintaining Business Management System (BMS) calendar, developing agenda for GP Staff meetings, supporting the annual budgeting process and quarterly budget reviews, etc.
  • While performing these tactical activities, this position will also learn the strategic components for Procurement Operations programs to provide back-up to the other senior-level Procurement Operations Program Managers.
Requirements:
  • Experience in overall procurement process cycle (analyze, develop, go-to market, contract, buy, manage)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; including process documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, task and project management, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working on complex global projects and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong technical background with advanced personal computer skills including: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
  • Understanding of procurement tools including Ariba Sourcing, Contracting, Procurement Content, P2O, Oracle iProcurement, Tableau (Working knowledge of Ariba applications a plus).
  • Tools and Technology savvy, passion to learn new business tools how they are used and can be improved.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to support delivery scope & deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
  • Standard working hours will be 2:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. IST; requires flexibility in working earlier and later hours some days due to Global nature of the position.
Education
  • A minimum of 5 - 8 years of applicable experience is required.
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree is required, or equivalent experience.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Work experience within an operational department with high transaction volumes; (e.g., Procurement, Finance, IT, Helpdesk/customer service preferred).
