The Credit and Lending team\'s mission is to bridge the credit gap in India and enable seamless credit for everyone at lowest cost, thus empowering more Indians to fulfill their aspirational consumption needs. We strive to provide access to credit millions of customers by developing custom products and services which serve their diverse needs. The team also looks at solving for credit needs of SMEs in the Amazon ecosystem. The Amazon Small Business Lending Program enables small businesses (SMEs) to avail affordable credit, seamlessly from a network of banks, NBFCs and Fintechs to meet their growth and working capital requirements. The program helps to drive platform stickiness, improve inputs and aid Amazon\'s Smbhav commitment to generate livelihood and digitize SMEs. The Sr. Program Manager will work to scale both these businesses.

Key job responsibilities
We are looking for a focused and data-driven Sr. Program Manager to support the growth and scale of our Credit and Lending businesses. The leader will drive and manage relationships with lenders across businesses including Small Business Lending and Consumer Financing. The leader will drive lender alignment on key goals and initiatives, align on fees and commercials and manage the P&L for these programs. The leader will engage with lenders and drive programmatic interventions to continually better metrics improving customer experience. Further, the leader will drive initiatives across partner teams including Seller Services, Amazon Business and Amazon Marketplace to scale the credit programs. If you are a seasoned manager with a passion for driving growth in a dynamic environment, then this role is for you. Key responsibilities include -
a) Define market opportunity and business strategy including sign off from senior leadership
b) Negotiate with banks/ partners to achieve the vision, in conjunction with other payments teams
c) Drive execution of business strategy by partnering with internal stakeholders (product/tech, sales, operations). Making smart tradeoffs, coordinate dependencies, and maintain communication throughout the organization

Credit and Lending team at Amazon Payments focuses on solving credit and affordability needs of the customers. We focus on building the most rewarding and most affordable payment instruments for customers while ensuring reliable and trusted payment experience.
Credit and Lending business at Amazon Pay serves 1cr+ happy customers through the Amazon Pay Credit card and Amazon Pay Later programs. The Amazon Pay Credit card is the largest co-brand credit card program in India.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- a. Strong quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills, being able to diagnose root cause of issues
- b. Ability to find practical and simple solutions to complicated problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality
- c. Proven ability to influence stakeholders with different priorities and different functions including but not limited to technology, legal and finance
- d. Entrepreneurial, self-sufficient and able to operate in a fluid, ambiguous environment
- e. Ability to communicate across all levels of management and excellent verbal and written skills in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- a. MBA from premier B School in India or abroad
- b. Experience in financial services and products management - including retail/MSME banking or fintech experience.
- c. Experience in vendor contract negotiations and managing vendor relationships Experience in dealing with regulatory and supervisory bodies
