: Teacher Associate, Avanti Fellows Position Summary: The Teacher Associate will conduct classes and follow up on other academic tasks for 6-8 batches. Her/his role includes teaching, inspiring, doubt solving, and motivating students towards achieving their learning goals. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: \xe2\x9e\x94 Classroom Teaching and Management \xe2\x97\x8f Conduct offline classes \xe2\x97\x8f Prepare for classroom sessions with presentation slides in advance and teach students for ~20 hours a week \xe2\x97\x8f Explain concepts in a creative and engaging way using real life examples \xe2\x97\x8f Monitor students\xe2\x80\x99 progress, their classwork and homework to ensure that they are on track to achieving their learning goals \xe2\x97\x8f Encourage self-discipline and punctuality in the Avanti Classroom \xe2\x9e\x94 Mentoring, Career Guidance and Academic Support \xe2\x97\x8f Build strong relationships with students through one-on-one interaction sessions, help students overcome their academic and personal issues \xe2\x97\x8f Regularly work with students to break down their academic workload into small achievable goals and track their progress on these goals \xe2\x97\x8f Debrief with students regularly on their test scores and classroom performance (both CBSE board and Avanti) and suggest ideas for improvement \xe2\x97\x8f Assist students in building their career trajectory based on their interests \xe2\x9e\x94 Parent Engagement \xe2\x97\x8f Discuss the student\xe2\x80\x99s performance with their parents in person or over phone at least once a month \xe2\x97\x8f Conduct Parent Teacher Meetings (PTMs) in schools at least once every 3 months and share aggregate and individual reports with parents \xe2\x9e\x94 Data Analysis \xe2\x97\x8f Consistently collect and upload feedback about classroom and test performance on Avanti\xe2\x80\x99s online learning management system \xe2\x97\x8f Quarterly analyze students\xe2\x80\x99 performance and track high/low performers, while providing targeted support to the high/low performers \xe2\x97\x8f Generate insights on reasons for poor student performance and devise solutions to address those problems \xe2\x9e\x94 Special Projects \xe2\x97\x8f Create a healthy learning culture by working on initiatives like (but not limited to) arranging expert guest sessions, organizing field trips/excursions, planning scientific debates in the classroom, etc Requirements: \xe2\x97\x8f Basic proficiency in using computer software \xe2\x97\x8f Full time degree in M.Sc./ B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech \xe2\x97\x8f Passion for teaching & working in the Education Sector. \xe2\x97\x8f Previous experience in teaching is a plus \xe2\x97\x8f Proficiency in Class XI & XII Physics/Chemistry/Maths/Biology (either one subject) \xe2\x97\x8f Experience required is 4-6 years of JEE/NEET level teaching \xe2\x97\x8f Ability to connect with, inspire and motivate students \xe2\x97\x8f Strong interpersonal & communication skills Salary Details: Commensurate with experience Location: Tamil Nadu Reporting to: Program Manager Job Type: Full-time Pay: 300,000.00 - 500,000.00 per year Benefits:
