JKKN College of Arts and Science is seeking a highly motivated and accomplished individual to fill the position of Professor in the Department of Physics. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for teaching and research, and will be committed to fostering an inclusive and collaborative academic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and teach courses in Physics at the undergraduate and graduate levels
• Conduct cutting-edge research in Physics and publish findings in reputable academic journals
• Secure funding for research activities from external sources
• Supervise graduate students and postdoctoral researchers
• Participate in departmental and college committees and activities
• Provide mentorship to junior faculty and contribute to academic program development
• Collaborate with other departments and research institutions to advance interdisciplinary research initiatives
• Engage in community outreach and promote Physics education and research to the general public

Qualifications:

• PhD in Physics or a related field
• Record of excellence in research, demonstrated by publications in high-impact academic journals and successful grant applications
• Experience in teaching Physics at the undergraduate and graduate levels
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education and research
