We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Professor in the Department of Visual Communication to join our faculty team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a deep understanding of the latest developments in visual communication.

Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate courses in visual communication, including design theory, graphic design, and digital media.
• Develop course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments.
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
• Conduct research and publish scholarly work in relevant areas of visual communication.
• Participate in departmental and college-wide committees, initiatives, and events.
• Advise and mentor students, helping them to achieve their academic and career goals.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with the latest trends and best practices in visual communication.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in visual communication or a related field.
• Significant teaching experience in visual communication at the undergraduate level.
• Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas of visual communication, such as design theory, graphic design, or digital media.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
• Commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service.
• Record of scholarly publications in relevant areas of visual communication.
• Experience mentoring and advising students.
